I have to disagree with one point in the presentation. As students we worked with computers before the 1980's. I graduated in 1977 and recall having a computer class with Mr. Kasar (?) and our final being entering a short program that printed our name in a diamond. It is amazing to see how far we've come.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the girls at the "computer" are from the class of 70. The one standing, I believe is Susan Kadish, the one sitting is Gabrielle. I think it was a key punch machine. I am doing this from memory - 40 years is a long time.

The picture of the girls and the nun at the "computer" is from 1966. The girls were all seniors. The girl seated is Veronica Bleakley. The nun is Sister Jean Evangela, the Library Science teacher . Hi Everyone- Definitely Class of 1966 I have to disagree with previous bloggers. It is Sister Febronia, Patricia Ryan, Celine Matula (standing) and seated is Eileen O'Sullivan. These were our resident Math Gurus, superbrains and and all around great friends. Celine was my college roommate. Honestly, it's so hard to tell we all had the same hair!!!!!!!!! Hope you are all well and prospering and looking forward to an active and wild retirement. Carol
