Art Studio Dedicated to Liz White Regan '77

The Mary Louis Art Studio was dedicated on March 6, 2010 to Elizabeth White Regan, a member of the Class of 1977. Nearly 100 of Lizzie's friends and relatives, including many TMLA grads, were on hand for the event which began with a liturgy in the Mary Louis chapel. Reverend Vin Dicola SJ presided at the liturgy, during which Lizzie's children and siblings offered readings and reflections. At the close of the liturgy, TMLA principal, S. Kathleen McKinney(who had also taught Lizzie while she was a student at the Academy) presented Mrs. White with a special bouquet of blue hydrangeas and yellow tulips, symbolic of the school's colors of blue & gold, for her 80th birthday. The group then headed over to the Art Studio to officially dedicate the building to Lizzie's memory. A painting that Lizzie did was presented by the White Family to TMLA for its archives. Photos of the event may be found here.
