The Mary Louis Academy mourns the loss of Sister Angela Mullen, CSJ, Principal of TMLA from 1971-1977. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday June 21, at 11:30 am in Maria Regina Chapel, Brentwood, NY. S. Angela Mullen directed TMLA through one of the most change-filled times in Education. Sister Angela oversaw the use of modular scheduling, weighted GPA's, curriculum advances, the expansion of resource centers, the 40th Anniversary, uniform changes, and more. Prior to becoming an administrator, Sister Angela taught Biology, including at St. Anthony's Diocesan High School in Huntington. After leaving TMLA, Sister Angela worked in the Diocese of Rockville Centre Chancery Office. A bit of trivia, Sister Angela was also an honorary Boy Scout! These links present a few photos of Sister Angela at TMLA.
