
He may be remembered best as the "Voice of the Yankees," but well before Bob Sheppard took a 50+ year spot in the Bronx, he was the Speech and Debate director for TMLA. During the late 1940s and early 1950s, Mr. Sheppard directed many TMLA girls to city, state and national Speech Tournament wins. Mr. Sheppard was also a strong supporter of the Sisters of St. Joseph and was an Associate of the Congregation. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Read more here.
